He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Hovis and Frances "Sue" Cochran (Brown); his brother Dave Hovis (Wilma); his nephew David Hovis (Savannah); his great-nephew Peyton; his great-nieces, Hannah and Paisley; his stepfather Tom Cochran; his niece Tiffany Hovis; his cousins, Eddie, Dale, Terry, Steve, Mike, Jimmy, Roger, Rick and Jeff; his aunts and uncles, Jeannette, Retha, Doris, Chris, Eddie, Jr., Charlie and Roy; and his grandmothers, Ruby, Pearl Brown and Bessie Hovis. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family in care of the funeral home.
