He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Gilbert "Tam" and Marie Cottingham; and his son David Cottingham. He is survived by: his wife Betty Cottingham; his son Brian Cottingham (Kathryn); and his siblings, Doris Bedinghaus (Tom), Mary Portmess (Ray), Albert "Bud" Cottingham (Dorothy), Stanley "Jake" Cottingham and Betty Risse.
