She was predeceased by: her children, Lori Rae Hargis (Lori) and Dakota Lee. She is survived by: her daughter Heather Ann Hargis (Larry McAllister); her grandchildren, Brandon Hargis, Katy, Noah, Ashlee Willett, Aidan, Autumn and Maia Williams; and her siblings, Chuck Winkelman (Brenda) and Candy Smith (Jim).
At her request, there will be no official funeral, but Betty would love any donations to be sent to the American SIDS Institute, 528 Raven Way, Naples, Florida 34110, to honor her beloved grandson, Dakota.
