He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Gesell and Elsie Gesell; his brother Marvin; and his great grandchild Jocelyn Grace Gesell. He is survived by: his spouse Karen Gesell; his children, Michael Gesell, Laurie Kunkel (Greg) and Jeff Gesell (Missy); his grandchildren, August Kunkel (Sarah), Mason Gesell, Forrest Kunkel (Erin), Emma Jones (Casey) and Winston Kunkel; his sisters, Marlene Sloneker and Elaine Smith (Don); and his sister-in-law Estelle Gesell.
