He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis M. Coots and Effie Mae Plummer Coots; and his sisters, Mari Coots and Carole Mallott. He is survived by: his children, Brandi McCarney (James) of Utica, Sean Coots (Angelita) of Campbellsburg, Amanda Schmitt (Barry) of Temecula, Jacob Coots (Gustavo) of Richmond, Virginia, Emily Coots and Erica Coots of Paoli; and his siblings, Murl Coots of Salem, Roy Coots of Henryville, Kaye Gray of Henryville and Terry Lee Snelling of Salem. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
