He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rominger and Maude Rominger (Abel); his spouse Shelby Walls; his sons, Greg and Ranza Jonathan "R. J." Rominger; and his siblings, Harry Rominger, Jr., Verna, Pauline, Patty and Joani.

He is survived by: his sons, Kim Rominger (Monica) of Avon and Mark Rominger (Yvonne) of Jasper; his brother Jerry Rominger (Phillis) of French Lick; and his great grandchild Over.
