He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Mildred Mary Griffin (Hutchinson); his wife Maxine May Blevins; and his sister Janice Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Canfield (Robbie) and Charles Griffin, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jessica Himebaugh, Gracie Himebaaugh, Jace Himebaugh, Jeremy Johnston, Katie Griffin, James Griffin and Amanda Himebaugh; his great grandchild Rhea; and his siblings, Gary Griffin, Jackie Griffin, Danny Griffin, Ruth Ann Blevins, Donnie Griffin, Steven Griffin, Jimmy Griffin and Dolores Middleton.
