She was predeceased by: her parents, LaRue Severe and Mary Severe (Ethridge); her husband Elmer Sertz; her grandson Daniel Hagen; her siblings, Daune Severe and LaRue Severe, Jr.; and her half-brothers, Bill Miller and James Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Klepzig (Bob) of Wisconsin and Ron Klepzig (Sheryl) of Ladoga; her grandchildren, Jacob Caulley (Lynn), Ryan Dale (Carrie), Kody Dale (Christina) and Keirra Gross (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Emma Rose, Logan, Hunter, Gage, Corbin, Rhettlynn and Hayleigh; her siblings, Shirley Severe, Patty Harlin and Larry Severe (Linda); and her half-sister Mary J. Reed. She is also survived by several nieces nephews.
