She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper S. Taylor and Florence A. Taylor (South); her former husband Virgil Christian; her husband Sylvester Keene; her son Theodore Keene; her grandsons, Allen Christian and Donald Woods Jr.; her great grandchild Anthony Carter; and her siblings, Henry Taylor, Franklin Taylor, Jim Taylor and Ernestine Napier. She is also survived by six children, two step children; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
