She was predeceased by: her parents, Theophile Laferriere and Marie Edna Laferriere (Boudreau); her son Robert "Bobby" Paton; and her sisters, Julie Finn, Rida Clark and Elvis Presley.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Babcock (Keith) of Coventry, Patricia Gabbard (Richard) of Wawaka, Ronald Paton (Tina) of Ajo, Dennis Paton (Lisa Rotundo) and Irene Crabtree; her grandchildren, Vanessa, Thomas, Marissa, Tonya, Ronald, Alyssa, Jonathan, Sara, Michael, Matthew, Curtis and Brianna; her great grandchildren, Alexander, River, Serenity and Leo; and her brother Norbert Laferriere.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a local animal shelter in Dorine's honor.
