It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Jay Rose of Wawaka, Indiana, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rose and Vera Rose (Wysong); his brother Mark; and his sister-in-law Beth Rose. He is survived by: his wife Kay Rose of Wawaka; his children, Dawn M. Hurley of Fort Wayne, Brent J. Rose (Jennifer) of Wawaka and Bradley J. Rose (Joleen) of Wawaka; his grandchildren, Kaleb Ballard (Taylor), Kyle Ballard (Natasha), Christoper Ballard (Haley), Bailey Rose, Lyndsay Rose, Molly Rose, Jade Rose, Katrina Rose, Johnathan Rose and Katharine Rose; and his siblings, Tom Rose (Joy) of Albion, Mary Mills (Charlie) of Warsaw and Elizabeth Glasson (Jim) of Silver Lake. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yeager Funeral Home (1589 Lincolnway S, Ligonier, IN 46767). The military honors was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
