With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael D. Simpson of Waveland, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael left this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Simpson and Ethel Mae Simpson; and his grandson Rex Michael Simpson. He is survived by: his significant other Yvonne Sue Perry Simpson (Doll); his children, Mischa Hetrick (Shawn) of Rockville, Michele Mitchell (Matt) of Waveland and Michael "Mikie" Simpson (Jen) of Waveland; his grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Luke Gregg, Kennedy Mitchell, Ali Sue Hetrick, Reece and Emma Simpson; his great grandchild Jackson Gregg; and his brothers, Max Simpson (Lavonne) of Darlington and Charles Simpson (Kelley) of Crawfordsville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Russellville Community Church (103 3rd St, Russellville, IN 46105). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
