She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Franklin and Maude Pearl Brooks (Smith); her sons, John Lefton and Carl Wayne Lefton; and her sisters, Frances Brier, Marcella Pattengale, Thelma Kathlene Brooks, Dorabell Brooks and Nancy Crumley.
She is survived by: her husband Sherman E. "Bud" Lefton; her daughter Janet Greenwood (Edward); her grandchildren, Donald Greenwood (Kim) and Sarah Lefton; and her great grandchildren, Ashley and Lanee Greenwood.
