It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lewis Gartner (Waterloo, Indiana), born in Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee and Mary Jane Gartner; his former wife Susan Thoen Gartner; and his grandson Bradford Rex Bego. He is survived by: his wife Kristine Bercaw (Kane); his stepdaughters, Alison Aldrich (Justin) of Corunna and Jacquelyn Bego (Brian) of McCordsville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ava, Elle Aldrich, Declan and Noah Bego; and his siblings, Jeanne Gartner of Oakton, Virginia, Bonnie Warfield (David) of Germantown, Maryland and Barry Gartner (Suzanne) of Germantown, Maryland.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
