She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonzo Vanderpool and Ethel Vanderpool (Shepherd); and her brothers, Marvin Vanderpool and Claude Vanderpool. She is survived by: her sons, Anthony W. (Leanne Sparkman) and Brian (Shanna Sparkman); her grandchildren, Kyle Sparkman, Tyler Sparkman of Chase Sparkman, A. J and Alex Sparkman; and her siblings, Banner (Merita Vanderpool), Milton Vanderpool of Martin, Lorene (Danny King), Connie S. (Jay Handshoe) and Virginia Prater of Hueysville, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
