He was predeceased by: his son Sheldon Lockwood; his parents, LaVoyle Lockwood and Bernard Lockwood; his sister Jeannette Feller; and his brother-in-law Carl Feller.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lockwood of Waterloo; his daughter Tina; his son-in-law Don Helbert of Auburn; his grandchildren, Dain Helbert of Defiance, Tawney Forrest (Jordan) of Auburn, Ashton Helbert of Auburn, Skyler Lockwood of Auburn and Parker Lockwood (Jasmine Hoffelder) of Fort Wayne; his great grandchildren, Denver Forrest, Weston Forrest, Archer Forrest and Micah Lockwood; his brother Larry; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Lockwood of Auburn, Dwight James of Fort Wayne, Karen and David Carter of Auburn.
Memorial donations may be made to Gerald's great nephews foundation, The Josh Clifford Memorial Foundation Inc. Burial will be held with military honors in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
