With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen E. Parsell (Waterloo, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Furl Schmidt and Lela Schmidt (Clear); her brother David Furl Schmidt; her daughter Christine Rae Parsell of Martinsville, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Katie Ellen Banta and Jeff Zeigler.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Johnson of Martinsville, Mark Parsell (Linda) of Georgia, Lisa Banta (Mark) of Rome City and Rob Parsell (Carol) of Garrett, Indiana; her sisters, Carol (Darwin Lechleidner) and Ruth Ann (Harold Surface); and her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Cretsinger (Chris) of Waterloo, Karen Mills of Pleasant Lake and Margaret Parsell of Waterloo, Indiana.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
