He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Matteson and Eileen Matteson (Best); his sons, Scott Joseph Matteson of Washington, Billy Gene Matteson (Malinda) of Montgomery and Todd Alan Matteson (Leah) of Newburgh; the mother of his children Cynthia Matteson; and his sisters, Charlene Thomas and Melanie Wayman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel (620 E Viola Ave, Washington, IN 47501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
