It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Ann Matthews of Washington, Indiana, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Deitz and Lela Deitz (Street); and her sister Eve Annette Deitz. She is survived by: her husband Ed "Smoke" Matthews; her sons, Shane Matthews (Chasity) and David Matthews (Alison); her grandchildren, Katherine, Hannah, Emily, Nicholas, Wyatt and Gracie; her siblings, Vincent Dale Deitz (Mickey) and Deanna Deitz; and her aunts, Midge Helderman, Melba Buckley, Sharon Street and Marlene Vesmarovich. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
