It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Ann Halter of Washington, Indiana, born in Ferdinand, Indiana, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Helming and Dorothy Helming (Messmer); her husband David R. Halter; her siblings, David Helming and Marlene Siddons; and her siblings-in-law, Robert McMillen and Connie Helming.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Halter (Jaime) of Washington, Michael Halter of New Delhi, India and Sandra Sturgeon (Noah) of Fishers; her grandchildren, Jackson Halter, Isaac Halter, Lucas, Kaitlyn Sturgeon, Lauren Sturgeon and Alyssa Sturgeon; her siblings, Bernard Helming of Jasper, Joe Helming of Jasper, Elizabeth McMillen of Indianapolis and Carolyn Oeding (Robert) of Ferdinand; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Siddons of Jasper and Rhonda Helming of Celestine.
