He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Jones; his son Dean Jones; and his brothers, Cody, Marvin Jr. Paul, Robert (Bob) and Phillip Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Jones; his son Douglas Jones; his stepchildren, Rose Poetz (Jim), Ronald Gurley (Niki), Donna Radcliffe (Dan), Theresa Hodge (Mike) and Melvin Decker; and his niece Cathy King (Phillip). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
