He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Pius Delaney and Ruth Elaine Delaney (Padgett); his sisters, Barbara Barthel and Kay Rolley; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Delaney and Trish Delaney.
He is survived by: his daughter Marie Elaine Gebhart (Delaney); his granddaughter Sydney Marie Gebhart of Greenwood; his siblings, Karen Williams of Evansville, Bill Delaney of Washington, Ken Delaney (Judeanne) of Cannelburg, Marcy Abel (Charley), Marita Wagler (Uria) of Montgomery and John Barthel; and his siblings-in-law, John Barthel, Marita Wagler (Uria) of Montgomery, Marcy Abel (Charley), Ken Delaney (Judeanne) of Cannelburg, Bill Delaney of Washington and Karen Williams of Evansville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, college friends, coffee buddies, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Patrick's Cemetery Fund or the Corning Irish Heritage Center.
