With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alan Russell (Washington, Indiana), who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russel Sr. and Beatrice I. "McCraney" Russell; and his siblings, Jamie Luttrell, Lowell Russell, James C. Russell Jr. and Donald Russell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra Lafferty and Dennis Russell (Susie). He is also survived by youngest sister, and entirely too many nieces and nephews.
