Philip L. Wichman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip L. Wichman (Washington, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Philip has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William J. Wichman and Josephine E. Wichman (Auberry); his siblings, James R. Wichman (Terri) of Seymour, John P. Wichman (Roberta) of Washington, Albert T. Wichman of Evansville, Marilyn A. Summers (Ron) of Tobaccoville and Martha J. Wichman of Washington; his daughter Shannon Wichman; and his sister Patricia Dennis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel (620 E Viola Ave, Washington, IN 47501). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (315 NE 3rd St, Washington, IN 47501).
