He is survived by: his parents, Debbie Sue Gay (Reynolds) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Lee Smith, Jr. of Austin, Indiana; his daughter Makayla Smith of Austin, Indiana; his siblings, Charles Reynolds (Erica) of Scottsburg, Lee Smith III (Shannon) of Nicholasville, Brandon Smith (Terra) of Austin, Robert Taylor of Austin, William Neace (Kimber Meyers) of Scottsburg, Cheyenne Vaughn (Keanan) of Austin, Joseph Taylor III of Scottsburg, Justin Smith of Clarksville, Derek Smith (Kaitlea) of Clarksville, Josh Smith of Scottsburg, Carolyn Smith of Seymour and Conner Taylor of Scottsburg, Indiana; and his grandmothers, Rosemary Reynolds of Austin, Indiana. and Virgie Smith of Austin, Indiana.. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Nick was a supporter in the community, he was a volunteer at Light House Recovery Center in Washington, Indiana and rode motorcycles for charity.
