He is survived by: his wife Sheila Maryfield (Bechtel); his sons, Daniel Leroy Maryfield (Fawn) of Port Orchard, WA and Stephen Lynn Maryfield (Rebecca) of Roy, UT; his granddaughter Lacey Ann Maryfield; his siblings, Timothy Jan Maryfield (Diana) of Odon and Peggy Humphrey (Jim) of Florida; his siblings-in-law, Greg Bechtel (Dee), Cindy Asdell, Janet Bechtel, Linda Woodruff (Ron) and Lisa Troop; and his close friend Christy Vaught.
