She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel R. Daily and Kathleen Daily (Conway); her husband Rex Thomas; her brothers, Patrick Daily and P. James Daily; and her nieces, Erika Daily and Kristen Kellar.
She is survived by: her children, Amber Shimer (David II) of Petersburg, IN, Jonathon W. Thomas of Plainville, IN, Mindy and Adam Alford; her siblings, Maureen Strange (Mark) of Washington, IN, Margaret Daily (Gary Hinkle) of Washington, IN and Kevin Daily (Anna) of Lawrenceburg, IN; her grandchildren, Jacob Shimer, Isaac Shimer, Annabeth Shimer, Isabelle Thomas, Anastasia Thomas, Payton, Colton and Brayton Alford; her sister-in-law Mindy Daily of Columbus, OH; and her pet Otis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home (2020 State St, Washington, IN 47501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Calendar Plainville Cemetery (57 Northside Dr, Washington, IN 47501). She was proud to have organized the "Halloween Golf Cart Parade" in Plainville in 2021 with her late husband Rex, making sure children were still able to get their Halloween candy even through the pandemic of COVID-19.
