He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Stafford and Mary Lou Stafford (Noble); and his grandparents, Mable, Blake Stafford, Lula and Porter Noble.

He is survived by: his sister Shawna Hart (Jim) of Loogootee; his nieces, Beth Melvin and Ashely Gutierrez; and his close friends, Trudy and Tony Fuhs of Montgomery, Indiana..
