He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Cahill and Lillian M. Cahill (Garner); his sisters, Joanna Jones of Washington, Sara Jane Potts (Larry) of Louisville, Kentucky and Jean Romain (Robert); and his nephew Andy Allen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel (620 E Viola Ave, Washington, IN 47501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's name to the Washington Lady Hatchets Basketball Booster Club, 608 East Walnut Street, Washington, Indiana 47501.
