He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Barber and Helen Barber (Keith). He is survived by: his wife Maggie Barber (Block) of Washington, IN; his children, Sara Hoke (Kevin) of Carlisle, IN, Jeremy Barber (Susan) of Washington, IN, Keith Barber (Jessica) of Montgomery, IN and Jonathon Barber of Washington, IN; his grandchildren, Harper Hoke, Halle Hoke, Kamryn Barber, Kaleb Barber and Hazel Barber; and his siblings, Karen St. John (Bill), Bette Arison (Paul), Connie Ruark, Shirley Ferree (Brad), Mark Barber (Pam), Lisa Tinkel (Tony), Dale Barber (Janet), Tony Barber (Cindy) and Amy Barber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His passion for agriculture extended beyond his profession, as he was actively involved in various agricultural organizations, including the Indiana Farm Bureau and the Daviess County 4-H Foundation.
