He is survived by: his children, Arlen Winkler (Cathy), Jim Winkler (Jill), Chris Winkler (Crystal) and Suzanne Kern (Scott); his stepdaughter Michelle Woodsmall; his grandchildren, Kevin Winkler, Morgan Winkler, Jordan Winkler (Catherine), Garrett Winkler (Julie), Lauren Graber (Tyler), Nathan Kern, Martin Winkler (Isabel), Jacob Winkler (Brooklyn) and Aleena Winkler; and his great grandchildren, Frances, George, Caroline Winkler, Meredith, Elise Winkler, Graham, Tyson Graber and Emerson Winkler.
In lieu of flowers, offerings can be madey to the American Legion or local Veterans organization, 501 E. Main St. Washington, IN 47501.
