She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil J. Burris and Mary "Alberta" Burris (Norris); her husband Gerald Colvin; her parents-in-law, Louis and Beulah Colvin (Craney); her siblings, Joseph Bernard Burris, Mike Burris, Betty McDonald and Mary Malinda Burris; her son-in-law Tim Fox; and her brothers-in-law, Edward Colvin (Wanda), Richard Colvin, Billy Colvin and Donald Mathias.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Welch (Terry) of Petersburg and Kim Fox of Washington; her siblings, Ron "Govie" Burris of Loogootee, Rick Burris of Indianapolis, Gary Burris (Wanda) of Loogootee and Carol Boyd (Ron) of Loogootee; her grandchildren, Matthew Welch of Petersburg, Nathan Welch of Okinawa and Logan Fox (Kristie) of Mooresville; her stepgrandchildren, Jacob Fox of Loogootee, Gretchen Raetz of Loogootee and Heather Fox of Washington; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Burris of Loogootee, Leona Mathias of Loogootee and Mac McDonald of Columbus. She is also survived by eight step-great-grandchildren.
