It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Dean (Washington, Indiana), born in Plainville, Indiana, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Powell and Eva Powell; and her siblings, Ivan Powell, Ethel Auberry and Donald Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Dean (Gwen) of Indianapolis, Betty Dean of Carmel and Marilyn Jo Banks (Roger) of Washington, Indiana.; her granddaughters, Christy Rogers (Deen) of Indianapolis and Michelle Hatcher (Adam) of Indianapolis; and her great grandchildren, Brittni Knox, Tyler Knox and Brandon Williamson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, 104 N Meridian St. in Washington, Indiana.
