He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Halbert and Thelma Halbert (Belcher); and his wife Lillian Alice Halbert (Gregory). He is survived by: his children, Darin Halbert (Mitsy) of Martinsville, Don Booker (Tina) of Petersburg, Mike Booker of Washington, Dan Booker (Brandi) of Washington, Tony Booker (Marti) of Waco, Texas, Cathy Brown of Montgomery, Sherri Criswell (Jeff) of Montgomery and Lisa Wilson (Dennis) of Montgomery; his sister Lois Wininger of Washington; his sons, Troy D. Halbert and Mark Alan Booker; his grandson Cody Booker; and his siblings, Johnny Halbert, Bill Halbert, Beverly Howard and Brenda Morgan.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 6:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel (620 E Viola Ave, Washington, IN 47501).
