She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Mengedoht; her sister Pamela Bontempt; and her stepdaughter Charity Knust. She is survived by: her mother Sylvia Thomas (Auberry) of Conway, SC; her husband Kenneth Knust of Washington; her son Curtis Smith (Jasmine) of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Eleanor and Shelby; her stepdaughter Shelly Knust (Teresa Voorhees) of Franklin, IN; and her sisters, Connie Green (Jerry) of Jasper and Heather Earl (Damon) of Rockhill, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth, a sister, Pamela Bontempt and a stepdaughter, Charity Knust.
