She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Butcher and Huldah F. Butcher (Nichter); her daughter Laura Ann Wagner; her sister Marilyn Cox; and her granddaughter Hope Ann Wagner.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Meade; her children, Gaye Norris (Jeffrey) of Washington, Tim Wagner (Kim) of Washington and Jeffrey Wagner (Tara) of Evansville; her brother Robert Butcher (Sylvia) of Wadesville; her grandchildren, Angela Burkhart, Amy Burkhart, Timothy Wagner, Alexandria Wagner, Daniel Wagner, Chloe Wagner and David Wagner; and her great grandchild Kristelynn Miley.
