She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Holtz and Ruth Holtz (Titzer). She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Charles Mattingly; her daughter Jennifer Phariss (Kirk) of Grayslake, Illinois; her grandsons, Ryan and Sam Phariss; and her siblings, Dona Reinhart (Lenny) of Evansville, Cindy Sabel (Dave) of Evansville, Tricia Lee of Evansville, Charlene Brown (Jim) of Oakland City, Mark Holtz (Debbie) of Evansville, Joe Holtz (Julie) of Evansville, Tim Holtz (Jossie) of Evansville and Brian Holtz (Julie) of Evansville.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers and other gifts, contributions be made in Barbara's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
