It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin Lee Capehart Jr. of Washington, Indiana, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin L. and Viola Capehart Sr. (Mangin); and his son Stephen J. Capehart. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Capehart (Norris); his children, Austin Lee Capehart (Jill) of Anderson, Sandra Richardville of Washington, Demita Capehart of Washington, Pamela Hayes (Randy) of Petersburg and Barbara Barnett (Tim) of Petersburg; his siblings, Larry Capehart of Washington, Darlene O'Haver of Odon and Shirley Ross of Washington; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Daily, Sarah McCracken, Eric Richardville, Brandi Keys, Megan Ruiz, Matthew McKinney, Adam McKinney, Emily Schenk, Ethan Schenk, Joshua Barnett, Chelsea Barnett, Abby Barnett and Bridget Barnett. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
