Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anna Denny of Washington, Indiana, born in Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 92, on January 27, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer D. Winkler and Anna Winkler (Tromley); her son Steven B. Denny; and her siblings, Dan Winkler, Charles Winkler, Elmer W. Winkler, Robert Young, Paul Young, Evelyn Snow, Dorothy Burkhardt, Roberta Hopper and Dora Colbert.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Eugene Denny; her brother James Winkler of Washington; her daughter-in-law Donna Gross; her grandchildren, Thomas John Denny (Rachel) and Sarah Denny Jones (C. J.); and her great grandchildren, Harrison Denny, Madelyn and Drew Jones. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In honor of Aline's love and passion for reading and education, in lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Washington Carnegie Library, 300 W. Main St. Washington, IN 47501.
