With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alban Hoevel (Washington, Indiana), who passed away on December 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alban Hoevel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Hoevel and Adelaid Hoevel. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann; his sons, Mark (Ann), Mike, Matt (Karen) and Marty; his grandchildren, Holly Robinson, Aaron Hoevel, Chelsea Hoevel and Zavier Hoevel; and his brother-in-law Jim Conrad. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady of Hope for the Washington Catholic High School.

“Wishing you peace to bring comfort and courage to face the days ahead and loving memories of Al to forever hold in your heart. Jane, I must have felt Al's "passing" as I included you, Al and the boys as I was praying the rosary that day. I have such fond memories of your family when you visited Fort Wayne. The last time the Hoevels were altogether was in 2013 (I'm attaching a pictures) and singing like they always did!”
