He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwin and Bernice Nora Aitken (Neer); his wife Patricia Aitken; his sisters, Mary Jane Ring and June Sumpter; his daughter Connie Allen; and his granddaughter Mindy Allen.
He is survived by: his former wife Reva Aitken; his children, Jim Aitken (Lucy) of Warsaw, Ann Bollenbacher (Dennis) of Rockford, OH and Julie Rhodes of North Manchester; and his grandchildren, Aaron Rhodes, Darcie Warren, Michael Aitken and Christina Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that gifts be directed to Mason Healthcare Center's Activities department.
