He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvall E. Hoagland and Bonnie Pauline Hoagland (Walker). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Hoagland of Claypool; his son Thomas Hoagland of Columbia City; and his sister Nancy Louise Joiner of Lafayette. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
