He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Pickens and Mary Pickens (Chaney). He is survived by: his wife Janei Pickens of Nappanee, IN; his children, Doug Pickens (Heather) of Leesburg, IN, Stormi Holdeman (Dennis) of Columbia City, IN and Angela Boykin of Nappanee, IN; and his siblings, Nancy Anderson (Chuck) of Mason, Jim Pickens (Mary) of Pomeroy, OH, Bob Pickens (Donna) of Warsaw, IN, Roger Pickens (Norma) and Point Pleasant. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
