He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth Black. He is survived by: his wife Misty Black (Owens); his son Michael Black (Shai) of Texas; his stepsons, Ryan Swearengin of Kentucky and Stephen Flannery of Nappanee; his parents, Alice Brown of Tennessee and Leo Black of Warsaw; and his siblings, June Black of Tennessee, Garvin Black of Tennessee, Tonya Harrell of Fort Wayne, Kristina Harrell of Georgia and Cynthia Harrell of Georgia.
