She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Shaffer (Snyder) and William J. Shaffer; and her spouse Reverend Blaine Snyder. She is survived by: her grandson David; her children, Karen L. Basham and David Blaine Snyder (Sonja); and her granddaughters, Michelle Snyder, Sandra Hubbard, Rebecca Snyder, Stephanie Whittenbach, Bethany Hensley, Sarah Snyder, Debbie Dodge, Tammie Hibshman and Kim Haller. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, four sisters, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Ruth's memory may be directed to Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Indiana 46590; or to Grace Village Retirement Community, 337 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake, Indiana 46590 and would be appreciated by the family.
