She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Maxine Carter (Langley) and William M. Carter; and her son Seth. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey "Jeff" Brent Schmucker; her children, Joshua Schmucker (Holly), Grady Schmucker and Amanda Fritcher (Jesse); and her grandchildren, Michael, Emily, Sarah, Alyssa, Dagny and Elias. She is also survived by four brothers and six sisters.
