He is survived by: his daughter Angela Dawson (William); his grandchildren, Dailyn Prater, Virgle Prater, Jaxon Stephens, Diann Dawson and Hailey Dawson; his great grandchild Deacon Prater; his siblings, Juanita Shepherd, Geneva Bayne, Phyllis Varney (William), Barbara Prater (Darrell) and Arnold Prater (Amy); his sister-in-law Judy Prater; his nephews, Robert Miller and Wesley Prater; and his siblings-in-law, Nathan Shepherd and Carol Prater.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the God's Highway (555 Weber St, Warsaw, IN 46580). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (421 N Maple Ave, Warsaw, IN 46580).
