She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Harold and Hazel Eileen Gaerte (Fetters); her grandson Kristopher Corridan Shepherd; and her brother Richard Gaerte. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Shepherd (Chris) of South Whitley and Todd Earl of La Fontaine; her grandchildren, Madison Shepherd (Drew Dahlstrom) of Pierceton and Sara Cloonan (Matt) of Mishawaka; her great grandchildren, Aria and Everleigh; and her daughter Angie Thach (Leo). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
