He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Juanita Hardin-Knight (Smith) and Robert William Hardin; his son Rob William Hardin III; and his brother Anthony Michael "Mike" Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Barb Hardin of Warsaw, IN; his daughters, Beth (Chip), Skipper of Warsaw, IN, Natalie (Dave), Waddle of Warsaw, IN, Katrina (Steve) and Courchaine of Indianapolis, IN; and his grandchildren, Devin (Damien Bobo), Hartzler of Indianapolis, IN, Aric Hartzler of Indianapolis, IN, Angela (Taylor), Bean of Warsaw, IN, Amanda Justice of Warsaw, IN, Michaela, Matthew and Andrew Courchaine of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
