He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Clay and Marie Clay (Sparks); his sons-in-law, Rick Groves and Clark Barefoot; his sister Shirley; his brother-in-law Bob Kruckeberg; his brother Donald Clay; and his brother-in-law Buck Henwood.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Clay of Warsaw; his children, Jeff Clay (Diane) of Warsaw, Steve Hill of Leesburg, Brenda Barefoot of Olathe, KS, Penny Grove of Leesburg and James Clay (Nancy) of Warsaw; his brother Bob Clay of Louisville, KY; and his sister-in-law Noreta Mort of New Harmon, IN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
